Dubai is part of the largest and most populous metropolitan area in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), situated on the Persian Gulf and backed by the Arabian desert.

Known for its skyscrapers, high standard of living and its reputable higher education institutions, Dubai makes for a popular study destination. It is a truly cosmopolitan city, attracting students from all around the world.

Could Dubai be the study destination for you? Here are five reasons you won’t want to miss out on studying in Dubai.

🙂

The UAE is constantly striving to improve the quality and efficiency of its higher education institutions, and its universities rank among the best in the world. Dubai is a popular study destination among students, earning high scores in the desirability and the student view indicators in the QS Best Student Cities index.

One of Dubai’s most prestigious universities is Canadian University Dubai, which ranks among the top four universities in the UAE, according to the QS World University Rankings 2022 and 25th in the QS Arab Region University Rankings. Canadian University Dubai offers more than 40 degree programmes and accreditations. The school is committed to providing students with an international academic experience, while celebrating and respecting the diverse culture and values of the UAE.

The university attracts students from more than 120 nationalities, ranking sixth in the world for ratio of international students and seventh globally for ratio of international faculty members in the most recent QS World University Rankings.

If you decide to study in Dubai, you will be studying in a city that is constantly growing and evolving – and so are its universities. Students in Dubai will benefit from state-of-the art facilities and resources, as well as high quality teaching in a student-focused environment.

For example, Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has recently expanded, opening a new campus in City Walk, an urban playground in the heart of downtown Dubai.

The City Walk campus provides exciting new spaces to socialise, learn and research; whether you’re grabbing a coffee with a friend between lecturers, or making the most of the brand-new laboratories and research facilities.

Over the past decade, Dubai has grown into a strong international hub for work and has one of the world’s fastest growing economies.

Dubai’s employees enjoy tax free salaries and a thriving expat community. Graduates will benefit from the many exciting job opportunities on offer across a variety of industries.

If you choose to study at Canadian University Dubai, you will be studying in the heart of the city’s vibrant business district. Students can take advantage of a range of opportunities in education, research and professional development, and benefit from the university’s career support, which arranges career fairs, workshops and the internship and career counselling services.

The degree programmes at Canadian University Dubai are internationally accredited and recognised around the world. The programmes are based on industry standards and focus on developing critical work-related skills to equip students with the expertise and experience needed to succeed in the modern business world.

Studying in Dubai will give you a unique insight into a broad range of cultures from around the world.

A truly international city, students from all around the world choose Dubai as their study destination. Surprisingly, Emiratis only make up approximately t 10 percent of the city’s population, with 80 percent coming from all over the Arab region and beyond.

At Canadian University Dubai, there are students from more than 120 different nationalities. The school’s international faculty brings innovative teaching styles and philosophies from across the globe to engage students and make them well-rounded lifelong learners.

The university encourages students to make the most of the extracurricular activities on offer, to actively immerse themselves in the culture. There are a wide variety of activities that students can get involved with, from sports to concerts, to community fundraising.

If you’re thinking of studying in Dubai, you won’t be short on things to do between lectures. Whether you’re riding a camel through the desert, going dune bashing in an SUV or enjoying water sports on the ocean, Dubai is the perfect location for adventure seekers looking for new ways to see the city.

There are always plenty of events going on across the city. From October 1 2021 to March 31 2022, students can enjoy the highly anticipated Expo 2020 Dubai: a celebration of achievement and excellence of people from across the world. Here, you can view works of art from many different disciplines, listen to live music performances and experience delicious cuisines from different countries.

Hey!

My name is Kamila Żak

Since 2013 I have been running a business related to the area of education.

I am an entrepreneurial woman who motivates others to change the chosen path of life so that people in the education process find chances for a better tomorrow.

I also took up the challenge myself, I graduated from International Business Management at the bachelor’s level at one of the London universities, 2 years of General Business also at one of the London universities and in 2021 I graduated from International Law – also in London. From my autopsy, I know the problems accompanying future and present students.
